Mashed Avocado & Sardine Rice Cakes

This is a classic Stark staple, and for good reason! This simple, no cook recipe takes less than 5 minutes to prep, plus it’s loaded with healthy fats, omega-3s, and calcium. The apple cider vinegar cuts the fishiness a bit, and the avocado creates a smooth, creamy consistency that makes it a bit easier for those who struggle with the texture of sardines.

4oz can wild sardines in water (no added salt)
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1/4 avocado
1 brown rice cake
Black pepper
Hot Sauce (optional)

In a bowl, combine the sardines, apple cider vinegar, and avocado. Mash until well combined.
Scoop the mashed ingredients onto the rice cake, and add black pepper to taste.
If you enjoy a little spice, top with the hot sauce of your choice. Enjoy!
